What I’m Thankful for This Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! In honor of the holiday, I want to take a moment to remember all of the things I have to be thankful for in life.

Here’s my top five.

1. My family

As I made my way home for Thanksgiving early Wednesday morning, I realized how lucky I am to have a family welcoming through the doors with open arms. Sometimes, they can get on my nerves (I’m looking at you, little bro), but I love them nonetheless, and I know I can always count on them for a warm bed, a nice meal, and a listening ear. Make sure you take some time this holiday season to let your family know how much they mean to you! How did I Choose To Be Nice to the fam? I brought home a pumpkin cheesecake! Yum…

2. My friends

I was lucky enough to be able to see one of my best friends this past weekend, and I couldn’t have asked for a nicer way to start off the week of Thanksgiving. Sometimes you take for granted that your friends will always be around and it can be difficult as they move away. Remind your friends how grateful you are for them this Thanksgiving!

3. My boyfriend

Cue the *awwwww. He’s the best friend I could ever ask for and he always knows how to cheer me up. Whether it’s driving my car so I don’t have to drive in the snow or making a pumpkin cheesecake for Thanksgiving (the truth comes out!) because I don’t have time, I always know I can count on him!

4. My health

Recently, I’ve been dealing with a knee injury (as any runner is probably more than familiar with) and it made me realize how appreciative I am for my health. Not everyone is so lucky. This holiday season, take time to acknowledge these little things you might otherwise overlook!

5. Choose To Be Nice

I couldn’t be happier that I found Choose To Be Nice and that they have welcomed me into the family! I love that I am able to spread such an amazing message. Remember to Choose To Be Nice this Thanksgiving!
