A Few Clouds Won’t Get In The Way Of Choose To Be Nice!

Anyone that lives in New England knows the old adage that where the weather is concerned if you just wait a few minutes it will change. Choose To Be Nice was scheduled to attend the Bedford Plant and Craft Fair last Saturday but the forecast called for rain all day. We decided to forego the event given the expected washout. After checking the forecast at midnight on Friday (and hourly prior to then) and discovering that the rain would actually end by 9AM Saturday morning, we decided to attend after all.

And I’m so glad we did. The day turned out to be just beautiful. Thanks to all the folks who came out to enjoy the festivities. Once again we sold lots of Choose To Be Nice tees and met some great people wanting to spread the Choose To Be Nice message in their community. One such person was Derek. He and his two beautiful daughters stopped by our booth and loved the simplicity of the Choose To Be Nice message. Derek bought shirts for the whole family and sent us the great photo below. Thanks Derek. We really appreciate your support!

On another note I’m happy to report that we sent a check off to The Tomorrow Fund, an organization that provides financial and emotional support to children with cancer and their families in Providence, RI. We set up shop at the Hasbro Children’s Hospital and a percentage of all t-shirt sales went to this wonderful organization.

I’ll be off enjoying Memorial Day weekend and I hope you will be doing the same. In the coming weeks we’ll be at The Dunning Elementary School in Framingham for their end of year SummerFest and at The Needham Street Fair on June 7th and The Providence Flea on June 8th.

Hope to see you soon!

Derek from Bedford, MA
