Finding Ways to Celebrate Choose To Be Nice Week

We are so excited to be working on plans for the first annual Choose To Be Nice Week taking place June 5-9.

Our Choose To Be Nice schools will celebrate with a fun-filled week of special activities as they honor what they’ve been doing all year to build a lasting culture of kindness. Through our comprehensive school program, students learn about values such as kindness, acceptance, patience, and friendship. They will start off the week with an opening ceremony, participate in special events related to the theme of the day, and close with an engaging community event.

We want everyone to get in on the celebration. We want to have people all over the world make the promise to spread kindness in their homes, schools, workplaces and communities. Together, we can make a difference.

Here’s how you can get involved. Every day has a special theme. Use those themes as inspirations. Do something nice. Come up with a poem. Make a video. Paint a picture. And share. Tell someone. Send an email. Post it on social media. We’re turning it into a challenge. Who can put up the most interesting, most adorable and most fun posts? The real rewards are the benefits to you and your community when you choose to be nice, but as an added incentive, at the end of the week, we’ll pick two of our favorite posts to get a Choose To Be Nice Goodie Bag.
