WELCOME TO CHOOSE TO BE NICE!

Choose To Be Nice is about the choices we have every single day when interacting with others. We can improve the lives of others simply by choosing how we communicate with, respond to and relate to one another. Our program is built around the nine values of kindness, respect, responsibility, patience, courage, acceptance, honesty, teamwork and friendship, all of which provide a foundation for positive behaviors. We hope the resources and activities below bring you and your family joy, connection and fun!

Literacy Activities

Notes & Cards

PATIENCE CARDS – A colorful handout with six Patience Cards. These are great for the whole family!

KINDNESS CARDS – Spread some cheer with these colorful Kindness Cards. Print, trim, and hand out to friends and family. Or leave a few in public spaces for some lucky recipient to find! (Note: File can be printed onto 8.5 x 11 card stock.)

FRIENDSHIP NOTES – 6 colorful, small notes to enclose in a card to a friend.

CHOOSE TO BE NICE POSTCARDS – Use these postcards to send some cheer to friends, family, work colleagues, local senior centers or anyone else that might need a little boost. Simply write a note on the backside of the postcard to let recipients know that they are remembered and loved. (Note: Print out on 8.5 x 11 card stock, using a color printer and cut down the middle to make two postcards)
